Spectacle is the Gallery for stage productions and related events and spectacles. From a photographic viewpoint, this is a technically challenging environment, often with low light, sometimes extreme combinations of bright and dark and rapid changes of light, movement and colour in some productions. Yet such challenging conditions often produce dramatic results. When shutter speeds are limited, timing is often everything to freeze a face, leaving the rest of the actors to blur.
