Cornelius (Connie) Doolan was a Cork native who became highly celebrated as the long-time executive face of the Guiness Import Company in the USA. In 1994, Doolan created Guiness's famours marketing campaign where contestants wrote essays to win a real Irish pub. This was the pub which has been operating for 200 years.
