Lake Annecy is a stunning, crystal-clear glacial lake in the French Alps, widely celebrated as one of the cleanest and most picturesque bodies of water in Europe. It was formed roughly 18,000 years ago during the melting of large alpine glaciers and measures approximately 14.6 km long by 800 to 3,350 metres wide.
