Built originally for use as a warehouse in 1820, this is the rear view of Niland House on Merchants’ Road which was redeveloped in 1990 into retail and residential accommodation. The striking red railings perfectly capture the spirit of an ocean liner, but they are a celebration of Galway's own trading port history rather than a direct tribute to the Titanic.
