The skyline is of course world famous and I wanted to show in this image the central business district and the botanic garden as well as the opera house. The composition forces a direct comparison between the blocky, stepped grid of the skyscrapers on the left and the organic curves of the Opera House sails on the right, the separation enabled by a viewpoint from a ship in the harbour. An extreme 2.5:1 crop has also been chosen attention on the architecture rather than the sky or water.
