The Wieskirche (officially the Pilgrimage Church of the Scourged Saviour on the Wies) is a world-famous Rococo pilgrimage church located in Steingaden (in the district of Wies) within the Upper Bavarian district of Weilheim-Schongau. It is situated just under 30 km west of Oberammergau and has been a protected UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1983.
